VBlox | Capstone Project

Greetings! We are Group 6 of 12 ESTEMC-3!

We are inviting you to be a part of our capstone project, Vblox!

Who are we?

We are from Group 6 of 12 ESTEMC-3! By utilizing our capstone project Vblox, we are going to test it if it is effective at learning basic programming! 

What do we make?

The researchers want to create a game that teaches students programming while immersing them in the experience. With the help of a block-based programming mechanism, students can code by arranging blocks to complete tasks or advance in quests. It includes activities such as classes and resources that students can play. Students can also test their programming on a virtual robot that lives in a virtual world. This allows students to construct and customize their own robots that may interact with their surroundings, carry out missions, or go on quests. In the end, this may help students learn the fundamentals of programming.

Okay... What now?

The game is presently in its ALPHA phase, which means that while it is still under heavy development and we are continuously integrating the features to finish the game, Vblox's playability is not yet complete!

In light of that, we require your assistance! You're invited to participate in our pilot testing! Help us construct the final survey form in compliance with the Data Privacy Act, also known as R.A. 10173, by answering our test questionnaire and providing feedback on it, especially for Vblox! If you have a Laptop or Desktop PC, don't hesitate to be part of us! If you don't have one, we are trying to assess if we can host it on our computer laboratory!

We value your suggestions and will apply it to make Vblox better!

The most simple use of our application is seen in the project that was uploaded above. Because the features are still incomplete and we are unsure of the test cases and still not confident on its playability, so we temporarily disabled them. Await the BETA release, when you should be able to participate in our final survey and play it on a desktop or browser.
